- Drone Unit. Remotely-Controlled. Counts as Heavy Infantry. - Equipped with a Longshot Pulse Rifle, a weapon modified specifically for sniping role. - It utilises pulsed induction fields to propel lethal micro-bursts of plasma over very long ranges. - Has a low RoF but it is lethal against all Infantry, killing badly injured troops with a single shot. - NOTE: The Sniper Drone will eventually deplete it batteries, at which time it will self-destruct. - NOTE: Unless a Drone Controller operator is in range, the Sniper Drone is not operational. - Effective against Infantry and Heavy Infantry at very long ranges.
