- Transport, Support Tank. Can be upgraded with either Heavy Bolters or Flamers.
- A common sight of the Astra Militarum, the Gryphonne IV Pattern Chimera is the Praetoria's principle armoured fighting vehicle, used not only for troop transport but also for support and Infantry suppression duties, usualy reserved more commonly for Hellhounds.
- Firing ports allow Infantry to fire out while garrisoned inside.
