- Anchorite Mortifiers are special Penitent Engines piloted by Sisters Repentia that have committed the ultimate sin; betrayed their own Order.
- Unlike regular Repentias who have a faint chance at absolution, being forced to a Penitent Engine is essentially a death sentence, moreso if an Anchorite.
- This particular Anchorite contains a Battle Sister that tried to defect to the rampant Chaos Forces in Karauva.
- A rather rare sight indeed, the Order of the Sacred Rose does not take lightly acts of treason. For betraying the Matriarch is to betray the Emperor and Humanity itself.
