- Assault Vehicle. Chimera Replacement.
- Obsolete model of Armoured Personnel Carrier that can transport army Infantry.
- Due to the Warpstorm, Karauva is cut from the rest of the Imperial Supply lines and Chimeras became scarce.
- Thus, General Stubbs has authorized protocol Mars X - the activation of Karauva I's forge world.
- Under this protocol, the long forgotten Testudo APC can now be re-produced as a transport replacement.
- Its wheels allow greater speeds, but starts more vulnerable to enemy fire for the same reason.
- Testudo is additionally allowed to carry the weapons that were available for Chimeras.
- The Vehicle's firing ports also allow Infantry to fire while garrisoned inside.
- Effective against Infantry.
