Requires Harmony. - Elite Skitarii allies, order to act as Mars' eyes in the Vostroyan Firstborn. - Informally known as Rad-Troopers by the rest of the Imperium Forces, the Vanguard are a type of Skitarii infantry that are specialised in radioactive weapons. - They all come pre-equiped with Radium Carbines that leave ionizing radiation on any enemy unfortunate enough to be hit by them. - Needs to be stationary to fire. Can capture strategic points. - Effective against Infantry at long range. Can be upgraded to deal with different enemy types.
