- The mysterious Legion of the Damned appears from nowhere when the Imperial forces are in dire need. - They are the last remnants of a chapter who succumbed to a terrible warp contagion. - All the marines in the legion are doomed to die from the disease, which appears triggered by combat. - This mysterious swall of energy slips the legion into the battlefield where they are most needed. - Drastically unstable, it requires energy syphoned from listening points to stabilise (2) and heal (3). - The portal is highly damaging to any enemies nearby, but soothes weary Legionnaires. - The legion do not use requisition, the portal is weakened by the number of units it supports.
